Grandparents Day

Thank you to all our visitors who arrived on a very foggy Auckland morning to take part in Grandparents Day. There was a real sense of pride watching our students interact with our guests, escorting them to the hall and around the classrooms.

There was an eclectic range of performances, from recitations of poems (from known poets and original works!), hula dancing and Maori stick dancing to singing. Thank you to all the parents from Year 1 and Year 8 that put on the lovely morning tea too.

It was a good opportunity to reminisce with grandparents who have many years association with the school and meet those whose grandchildren are beginning their journey.
