Year 7 were lucky enough to visit Stardome this week and consolidate their learnings from their Space topic last term. There has always been wonder as we gaze upwards and the more technologically advanced we get, the more we learn to amaze and inspire us.

The Roving Reporter was shocked to hear the speed with which images taken by satellites and space probes take to reach earth. Because images are transmitted via radio waves which travel at the speed of light, they only take hours to reach earth, even when they are many many miles away! This very much reinforces the idea put forward by Gandhi that we should keep learning “…Learn as if you were to live forever.”
