Our Y7 and Y8 students have spent an afternoon a week for the last 8 weeks completing an Introduction to Leadership course with Youthtown in Mt Eden.

Both classes spent their last session cleaning up Mt Eden. Many of them reflected on the positive feelings they got from ensuring their community was cleaner but also sad when they saw the amount of rubbish that had been dumped “It made me feel good because it meant that we gave back to the universe by picking up the litter scattered over it”.
