I was part of the inaugural class at Ficino School in 1997. I had the original principal, Mark Broadwith, as my class teacher for the first two years. I left Ficino School and went on to study at Auckland Grammar School in 2000.

Although I was at the school for a short period of time, my experiences there had a lasting impact. Ficino School opened my mind to broader values and perspectives on life. Looking back, I particularly benefited from the Shakespeare productions (Henry the 5th and the Tempest), fine art classes, and music tuition.

From Auckland Grammar, I went to study at the University of Auckland and completed a BCom/LLB. I am now practicing as an environmental lawyer at Brookfields Lawyers which allows me to bring with me a legal skill set to my board responsibilities. I see my role on the board as an opportunity to support and steward an organisation that made such a positive contribution to my life trajectory.
