For the past two terms, our Year 4 students have been studying Ancient Greece. They have produced some wonderful project work and, as part of this topic, they learned about why pottery was made by the people of the period and what it was used for. Employing papier-mâché techniques, they created their own vases and decorated them in the style of the Ancient Greeks with the symbols for gods and goddesses.
