Ficino has had a long relationship with Edenvale Retirement Village. Not only do our school students visit to share their singing, but the Preschool also hosts visits from the residents.

Following our Senior Choir’s visit this week, we received some lovely feedback from the Activities Coordinator at Edenvale which we’d like to share with everyone:

“…thank you very much for organising the…Ficino Senior Student Choir to entertain the residents at Edenvale Home and Hospital today.

The residents and staff all said how beautifully the students sang, with one resident insisting, ‘they were the best children’s choir she had ever heard’! I agree! The residents were also delighted when the students came to chat to them after their performance…

…The students clearly love what they do, and it shows in their performance.”

The staff at Edenvale also passed on their thanks to our Choir Master, Elise Bradley: “Please pass on our congratulations to your Musical Director, for her wonderful musical direction and choice of songs.”
