The end of term is always a time for reflection. Of course we have had our highlights, the Flavours of India event, the Shakespeare production and Renaissance Trip, however, the transformative experiences are often found in the children’s everyday experiences of Ficino School. The standard of care is very high. Staff take well being seriously, nurturing every aspect of the child and attending to problems large and small with equanimity and kindness. Whilst the teachers encourage students to strive for academic excellence, they also insist on strengthening their character by challenging habits, giving time for reflection and for practicing self-mastery. When students know that their teacher likes them and wants the best for them, difficult conversations become productive exchanges and the student’s world expands. It is this combination of tending to the hearts and mind of the child that makes Ficino School unique.

We wish all our families a restful holiday and look forward to seeing you all in Term 4.
