Students Experience New Zealand History

Our Year 4 students visited Howick Historical Village last week to find out more about the life of early European settlers in New Zealand. Wearing their best Victorian-style costumes for the occasion, they tried their hand at churning butter, dug up historical treasures and even tested out the village stocks, which were used as a form of punishment in the 1800s.
