Ficino Cross Country Event
Despite the arrival of rain for our all-school cross country event on Thursday, the students were keen to get outside to tackle the Mount Eden circuit. Thank you to everyone who came along to cheer them on!
Central Zones Competition
Tristan (Yr 7), Ashneel (Yr 7) and Max (Yr 8) represented Ficino School at the Central Zones School Cross Country Competition held at Waiatarua Reserve on the 13th August. Our boys performed extremely well in the face of strong competition from nine competing schools in the region, running against 80 students in each of the Y7 and Y8 races. The team ran hard, completing the race within the Central Zones record keeping criteria.
A very big congratulations to the boys who represented our school with pride!
