Y3 celebrates bees!

Year 3’s science topic has taught them all about the tiny insects who do a giant job for our planet! They shared their learnings ahead of World Bee Day so we can see how important these pollinators are.

Without bees, many of our favourite flowers, fruits and vegetables wouldn’t exist. Even scarier for some, chocolate wouldn’t exist! These tiny insects are facing some giant problems in the form of pollutants, pesticides and the loss of their homes. So remember – be kind to bees. Help them by planting flowers like lavender, sunflowers and daisies in your garden.
