This week, Year 1 students were treated to not one, but two visits from our local police constables. On Tuesday, they learned about road safety and even went outside the campus to practice looking and listening for traffic. On Thursday, the police car came to visit and the children had the opportunity to sit inside it. They were particularly keen on the siren!

These experiences are part of the students’ study of ‘Community’ which forms part of the Year 1 curriculum this term.
