Notices – 15 August 2014

Speed in the School Grounds When Exiting

The School has had communication from the Council regarding the speed at which some cars are coming out of the school grounds and crossing the footpath, both in the morning and at the end of the day, and the risk that this poses to pedestrians who may be walking past our gate.

Accordingly here are two reminders:

  • the speed limit within the school grounds is 5km/hr
  • drive slowly and watch carefully for pedestrians when leaving the driveway onto the Esplanade Road footpath.  The red cones will remain in the gateway until after dismissal to facilitate this.
